The Mother of All Frivolous Discrimination Lawsuits

Craigslist.com Advertising

Craigslist.com is the world's largest and most visited online emporium. Anyone can post an Apt For Rent ad on the site for free. Craigslist only asks their users to self-police discriminatory advertising by way of 'flagging' the ad, or sending an email directly to Craigslist requesting the removal of an objectionable ad.

According to Craigslist, discriminatory advertisments for apartments on Craigslist are "rare" .  Here's what they have posted on their website entitled "Fair Housing Update"

Below are just a few of the countless number of  ads that can be found on Craigslist. Some are Ambiguous [like mine], in Blue; and others actually State a Preference, in Red.  According to State Administrators and the Fair Housing CEO, if they feel the ad 'might' be interpreted by an ordinary reader as discriminatory, then they have the sole discretion of calling it a violation and have the right to file complaints and demand monetary and punitive damages. Click on any of the Links Below to read the Craigslist Ads I found that either directly 'state' a preference (red),
or 'imply' a preference (blue).
